  1. As a Wedding Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of weddings, from initial consultations with clients to the execution of the event. Your role is to ensure that the couple's vision for their special day is brought to life seamlessly, within the agreed-upon budget and timeline. Responsibilities: 1. Client Consultation: Meet with couples to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and requirements. Provide guidance and expertise on wedding trends, traditions, and logistics. 2. Budget Management: Assist clients in creating a budget for their wedding. Source and negotiate with vendors to ensure services fit within the budget. 3. Vendor Selection and Management: Identify and recommend suitable vendors for various services (venue, catering, florists, photographers, etc.). Coordinate with vendors to secure contracts and ensure they deliver services as agreed. 4. Event Design and Styling: Collaborate with clients on the overall design and theme of the wedding. Provide creative input on decor, color schemes, and other design elements. 5. Logistics Coordination: Develop a detailed timeline and schedule for the wedding day. Coordinate transportation, accommodation, and other logistical elements. 6. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or unexpected challenges that may arise during the planning process or on the wedding day. 8. Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and gather feedback. Communicate with vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page. 9. On-site Coordination: Oversee the setup and breakdown of the event. Ensure that the wedding day runs smoothly and according to the established timeline. 10. Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle unforeseen circumstances or emergencies with professionalism and composure. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Wedding Event Coordinator or similar role. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Excellent communication in English and interpersonal abilities. - Creativity and a keen eye for design. - Knowledge of wedding trends, traditions, and etiquette. - Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly. - Able to travel. Education: - A bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications in event planning or wedding coordination are also advantageous. - A successful Wedding Event Coordinator is someone who can combine organizational skills, creativity, and a customer-centric approach to create a magical and stress-free wedding experience for the couple.
