Component Verification: Testing individual components, such as connectors, wires, shielding, and insulation, to ensure that they are of the required quality and meet regulatory or industry-specific standards. 3. Manufacturing Process Validation: Ensuring that the assembly process (such as soldering, crimping, or molding) is consistent, repeatable, and capable of producing reliable products. 4. Electrical Testing: Testing for continuity, resistance, voltage, current, and other electrical characteristics to ensure that the cable assembly will perform safely and effectively in its intended application. 5. Mechanical Testing: Verifying the strength, flexibility, and durability of the assembly, including tests for bend radius, tensile strength, and the ability to withstand vibration or physical stress. 6. Environmental Testing: Evaluating how the cable assembly performs under different environmental conditions such as temperature extremes, humidity, exposure to chemicals, or UV radiation. 7. Regulatory Compliance and Certification: Ensuring that the cable assembly complies with relevant local and international standards (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS, etc.) and obtaining certifications if necessary. 8.
