1. Set up and oversee the buffet table. 2. Prepare and set tables for different meal periods. 3. Prepare mise en place for the sideboard. 4. Collect ice cubes for each operation. 5. Assist in seating guests. 6. Possess a thorough knowledge of menus and the beverage list to be able to present the menu and make recommendations in order to increase food and beverage sales. 7. Take and serve food and beverage orders. 8. Collect requisitions. 9. Send and collect linen in preparation for the next shift. 10. Ensure that all outlet equipment and work areas are clean and maintained to a good standard.
